The first zip-front wader in the G3 family combines an upgraded GORE-TEX fabric package with a redesigned fit, greater mobility, and easier access. Each pair is assembled and individually tested at Simms’ Bozeman, Montana, facility. 

Performance

The biggest improvement sits below the waist. In Simms’ laboratory testing, the new four-layer GORE-TEX PRO lower fabric delivered 60% greater resistance to pinhole punctures than its predecessor. That improvement targets the small punctures that turn a productive day into a wet one, with tougher construction for anglers pushing through brush, negotiating deadfall, and covering rough ground. 

A fully submersible TIZIP center-front zipper makes getting into and out of the waders easier. It also simplifies access to layers and streamside relief, especially when cold weather has you wearing more than a shirt beneath your wading jacket. 

The self-gathering back yoke provides additional room for layering and movement. Redesigned, breathable suspenders improve comfort, while cam buckles allow waist-high conversion as conditions change. Together, these details accommodate the bending, reaching, and climbing that come with a full day of fishing.
