Scott Fly Rods

Harry Wilson founded Scott Fly Rods in a San Francisco basement in 1973. The company pioneered the use of fiberglass and created the first 5-piece backpacking fly rod. Scott developed as graphite technology progressed, creating long rods for light lines. Currently headquartered in Montrose, Colorado, Scott is a well-known rod manufacturer that takes pride in making every rod by hand in the United States.
