Performance

Durability starts with four-layer GORE-TEX PRO at the lower legs and seat, paired with a waterproof, breathable three-layer GORE-TEX upper. The construction concentrates protection where the waders take the most punishment while maintaining breathability through the upper body. 

In Simms’ laboratory testing, the new lower fabric delivered 60% greater pinhole-puncture resistance than its predecessor. That is a meaningful upgrade for anglers working through brush, climbing over deadfall, and putting repeated wear on their equipment. Small punctures can end a good day early. The G3 PRO’s strongest improvement addresses them directly.
