The Simms Wading Staff incorporates essential ingredients to make river crossings easier and more secure. Starting with an 11.5" EVA Foam handle, grip remains secure, even when wet or cold. Deploying the Staff is quick and easy with a pull on the Anodized O-ring to create a secure lock. The 55" length works for the vast majority of wading situations whether tall or short, and the multi sections fold up to a 13.5" length when stored in its 1680 denier Nylon and compression molded foam sheath. Sheath also features belt loops for wearing either vertically or horizontally (keeping a hanging staff from getting in the way of your legs or fly line). It also has a retractor/zinger to keep it fully secured to the sheath for quick access and docking.
Strength and simplicity win the CFS battle with this modern take on the classic wading tool.
