It's a 4x long streamer hook. I've tied a few WBs with it, and it seems fine. It didn't help me counterwind the wire perfectly (as I hoped it would). It didn't help me with proportions. But it "took a good tail," and didn't interfere with my selection of body material or hackle. I think it's a slightly sad sign of the times that the hook can't be described with classical specs (std wire, 4xl, whatever bend, TDE, etc.) Now it's necessary for sales to include, next to the part number, the style of fly you can use it for? The whole thing with users rating hooks four days after they receive them...seems desperate.
