Description

Bob Clouser's Deep Minnow is a sparse baitfish streamer with weighted eyes and a hook-point-up swimming position. It is a versatile choice for freshwater and saltwater predators, including Alaska fish feeding on small baitfish.

Performance

Use a strip-and-pause retrieve to let the weighted head rise and fall, or swing it through moving water. Change size, color, and retrieve depth to suit the baitfish and conditions.

Why we use it

The slim profile is easy to cast for its size, while the weighted eyes give a simple retrieve a pronounced up-and-down motion.

Materials

Bucktail, flash, and weighted dumbbell eyes.
