Description

Umpqua's Flashtail Whistler is a large streamer with a conspicuous, flash-heavy tail for pike and peacock bass. It adds a dedicated predator pattern to an Alaska box when pike fishing is part of the trip.

Performance

Strip it along cover and across likely ambush lanes, using pauses to vary the presentation. Change retrieve speed and angle when fish follow without committing.

Why we use it

Its reflective profile gives predators a visible baitfish target, and the contrasting color combinations make it easy to choose a different look as conditions change.

Materials

Reflective flash-tail dressing.
